Something is blunting a specific type of harm — your constitution, a ward, the nature of what you are. The damage arrives and some of it simply doesn’t stick.

Effect: Reduce incoming damage of the specified type by 5 per tier. Applied after all other modifiers. Stacks up to 3 tiers. Example: Resistance Tier 2 (Fire) reduces fire damage by 10.

Removal: Ends when the duration expires or is cleansed. If Resistance is an inherent creature trait, it cannot be removed — though it can still be canceled by Vulnerable.

Opposition: Opposed by Vulnerable. When both are present for the same damage type, subtract the lower tier from the higher — if equal, neither applies.
